Poetry: She’s baaack!

After all those weeks of
Indian Spring
Mama Winter has finally returned
After her wild party in Alaska
Leaving 13 feet of snow
She probably woke up with a hangover
And decided to even out her celebrations;
Besides
No fair "playing favorites"
And she may need our
Great Lakes for refueling
"You gotta give some
To get some"
So far, she's dropped about an inch
On Flint
But that's OK with me
— No longer involved with school
I don't care about "snow days"
— Just about safe walking and driving
And enough precipitation to avoid droughts.
