Poetry: I feel

Print

I feel ...
The pounding waves crushing my ribs
My pride
My dignity

I hear ...
The roaring of the ocean
Trying to unleash its vengeance upon anything in its path

I see ...
The sky that disguises the stars in the daytime
And opens up a whole new world upon entering the night

I know ...
That the probability of capturing these moments is slim
And that these waves crushing me
Occasionally offer the chance to feel powerful

I am ...
A lone sailor
With a soaked pad of paper
And a worn out pen

... But I'm running out of ink.
