Commentary: It is changing every day
By Gary P. Custer Jan 2005
You can get the stories in our magazine almost as soon as our reporters write them with just the click of a mouse. You no longer have to wait until you get the magazine. You also get many stories we do not have room to run in the magazine.
You can get events we do not have space to run in the magazine both in events format on our Events page and in a full-story format on our News Releases page.
On our News Release page we have the latest news stories submitted by dozens of non-profit groups that you cannot get anywhere else. And, you get them within an hour after we get them, basically unchanged from what we get. On most days we add five to 10 releases a day.
You can see every picture we have run in the magazine plus many we did not have room to run (more than 1,300) on our Photographs page. The pictures take a little time to load because they are technically high enough quality to be used in publications. (Any non-profit organization can use the pictures as long as they credit East Village Magazine.)
On our Submit Letters page you can submit your opinions on anything. And, it is more than likely, they will appear on our Opinion page.
You get the addresses, phone numbers, web pages and e-mail addresses of public officials, non-profit groups and other groups of interest in our Links page.
You can also read all of the stories and features we have run in the magazine and on the web site since 1993 on our Archives page.
Add eastvillagemagazine.org to your "Favorites" list. We invite you to look at the web site frequently.
It is changing every day.
