New Flint business announces launch

OnSite Energy announces the launch of its new business in Flint and the availability of its three biodiesel processors.
"These processors allow customers to re-process used cooking oil or use home-grown vegetable oil to make biodiesel fuel," says Jeff Woolman, OnSite Energy operations manager.
"With less than 20 minutes of effort, a farmer, trucking operator or municipal plant manager can prepare a batch of biodiesel, ready to use in eight hours," said Woolman. "The new Ford truck takes B20 biodiesel and most diesel trucks and tractors can run quite well under their warranty on biodiesel made from these industrial grade, robust, automated processors."
The Genesee 80 gallon processor, Huron 150 gallon processor and Marquette 220 gallon processor were developed with support from the Center for Advanced Manufacturing, the Regional Technology Center at Mott Community College, the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the Michigan Corn Growers Association.
All three processors feature a fully automatic processor that takes vegetable or used cooking oils and converts it into readily useable biodiesel. These biodiesel machines are the first fully automatic machines on the market of this size. The use of the processors eliminates user dependence on foreign oil.
Woolman added, "You can make as much biodiesel as you need for your operations. It keeps the used oil out of our dumps, and allows you to lessen your carbon footprint. You also can save about $1 per gallon on your fuel costs."
The Genesee, Huron and Marquette processors can easily be placed on trailers for the convenience of easy transport between work sites.
All three processors are made from only American parts, by Americans in Flint. The Genesee Processor has a retail price of $11,999, but is currently being offered at an introductory price of $10,500.
OnSite Energy's business is making and selling biodiesel processors. After a three-year development effort, its equipment will enable agricultural, municipal, commercial and trucking customers to make and use their own biodiesel. OnSite's operations are based in Flint.
