• The North End Soup Kitchen is not run by Catholic Social Services. The North End Soup Kitchen is a program of Catholic Charities of Shiawassee and Genesee Counties.
• Catholic Charities offers three sandwich programs, the Holy Angels Sandwich Program, 1001 Chippewa St., the Bread of Life Sandwich Program, 2608 Maplewood Ave., and the Owosso Sack Lunch Sandwich Program.
• The Child Welfare program at Catholic Charities offers adoption services and foster care services for Shiawassee and Genesee counties. The North End Soup Kitchen does not offer these services.
• While foster care for children up to 18 years of age is available at Catholic Charities, the New Horizons program has been discontinued. Youth in Transition, which is a program for youth who are aging out of the foster care system, is the foster care program that is offered at Catholic Charities.
• Catholic Charities offers two personal needs pantries. The North End Soup Kitchen houses the Flint personal needs pantry and the Shiawassee County site hosts the Owosso personal needs pantry.
