How many will lose their chance to fly?
Sending Bush youth to fight for "their" freedom
Our leaders have lied to us…do we really need them?
To tell us we're under constant threat by evil men
Their killing for money, cause they feel they can.
War on terrorism an excuse for this military state
Watching, guarding us like a bunch of inmates
How many will have to die?
Why do all the women cry?
Afghani desolation, homeland security, patriot act
Iraqi occupation, overwhelming tyranny; its all just fact
They say their protecting us; to not worry about the world
They take all that's been sewn and leave it unfurlin.
Right-wing fascism, left-wing resentment
grass roots organizations can barely make a dent
in this republican war machine of god-fearing liars
their power just can't reach any higher
They have the cheif, judges, senate and house
They play with our rights; like a cat with a mouse
Sending the masses off to help fight in this toil
To partake in a "war" that just kills for oil
Asking now what needs to be asked
Should be a fairly easy task
How many will have to die?
And how long will they continue to lie?
