Opinion: Preview of Planning Commission meeting May 26

Print

Hoffman's Deco Deli, 503 Garland St., is requesting a zoning change from D-2 (neighborhood business) to D-5 (metropolitan commercial service) at a Flint Planning Commission meeting to be held at 6 p.m. May 26.

The rezoning would make it possible for the business to request a special land use permit to allow outdoor dining.

There will also be the standing agenda items that include reports on the Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy and Master Planning Initiative.

The meeting is open to the public and will be held in the room behind the Flint City Council Chambers on the third floor of City Hall.
